Holly Cruikshank-Ireland
Originally from Fountain Hills, Arizona Holly started dancing at the age of 3. Holly started dancing professional at 15 with Ballet Arizona. During this time she also had a chance to perform internationally with showcases in Russia and Denmark. After graduating Coronado High School, she attended the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. After auditioning for many ballet companies and being told she was too tall she went to New York and auditioned for Tommy Tune. He hired her for THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES.
Since starting her career at the age of 18 with the National Tour of THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, starring Keith Carradine, she has worked nonstop. She has been also seen in HELLO DOLLY! (Broadway) starring Carol Channing, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (Broadway), starring Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, and David Alan Grier, FOSSE (Broadway Original Cast). CONTACT (Broadway and the National Tour) as The Girl in the Yellow Dress - LEAD. Received an LA Ovation nomination, and most recently MOVIN' OUT (Broadway Original Cast, 1st National Tour, & on the West End in London). The role ofBrenda where she won the 2005 Helen Hayes Award for best actress in a non-resident production (Washington D.C.) STAIRWAY TO PARADISE (City Center Encore's).
In addition to her work on Broadway she has been seen in THE PRODUCERS, The Movie Musical (valkarie and girl in pearls). She is in the upcoming films THE TOURIST with Hugh Jackman ad Ewan McGregor, and also the animated film FOODFIGHT where she is the body movement for Eva Longoria's voice. She has also done numerous print and commercial campaigns such as VISA, Ebay, Intel, Leggs Pantyhose, Guinness Beer, and Secret Deodorant. Holly has also been seen on "Regis and Kelly", "The Rosie O'Donnell Show", "Conan O'Brien", and "The Late Show, starring David Letterman"
