The South African Performing Arts Conservatory is planned to be the leading tertiary Performing Arts institution by providing specialised, INDUSTRY BASED EDUCATION by emphasizing quality, skills-based training relevant to the local and international performing arts industries.

The restrictions set by various academic institutions, do not make allowance for the specific requirements of such hands-on training. More and more, the integrity and very nature of the arts is being strangled by academic bureaucracy and politics that fail to recognise the highly specialised and UNIQUE educational approach required for training in the arts sector.

It is our mission to establish the SOUTH AFRICAN PERFORMING ARTS CONSERVATORY: a world-class, independent Performing Arts institution which will act as a feeder system tothe professional industry by specialising in the liberal education, development and training of various Performing Arts skills at a tertiary level by employing the expertise of various professionals; who have hands-on, practical industry experience, are experts in their specialized fields and have a deeply embedded passion and exceptional competence as educators in the arts. 

The SOUTH AFRICAN PERFORMING ARTS CONSERVATORY will commit to offer practical, skills-based training of the highest level in order to prepare students for the professional Performing Arts industry within South Africa and abroad.
