Kevin Patterson comes to San Diego after an extensive career in the performing arts which has taken him on tours for productions around the world. He is originally from Dana Point, California and Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii where he spent much of his youth along with his family of surfers (Yes surfers. In fact both his mother and father were champions). He is proud to be an absolute poi dog of Native Hawaiian, Chinese, Irish, & German descent.
Mr. Patterson is a classically trained actor/singer/dancer having trained primarily in England, New York, Los Angeles, & Philadelphia with instructors from numerous national Opera Companies for voice and the Royal Ballet, NYCB, Paris Opera Ballet, Martha Graham Company, and many others for dance. Acting includes Uta Hagen at HB Studio in NYC among others.. He is a graduate of the University of the Arts (formerly Philadelphia College of Performing Arts), where he received a BFA in Theatre/Dance.
In addition to a career as a professional actor/singer/dancer which started at the age of 17, Mr. Patterson has also choreographed and/or directed the following:
