Teran Brown

Teran Brown holds a B.A. Degree in Dance Performance & Education, a North Carolina state issued Teacher's License, and is a certified Zumba Instructor. As an educator, Teran has eight years of experience teaching dance, dance history, and dance fitness to all ages and skill levels. With a passion for community and youth outreach, Teran currently works as a dance coach/mentor for a newly developed high school program geared toward providing students with positive activities for afterschool.
In addition to education, Teran has an extensive dance team choreography background, choreographing for university, high school, and competitive dance teams annually. She also serves as a judge in the national dance competition circuit.

As a trained modern dancer, Teran has performed nationally as member of Cyrus Art Production, a dance/theatre company based in North Carolina - her home state. She recently relocated to the San Diego area and is excited to continue her performance career in addition to teaching and outreach.
